APR Group has published the thematic presentation "Results of a Social Survey on Media Literacy of the Public: Comparative Data from a Replication Study (2019–2024)." The presentation examines changes in public attitudes towards media literacy, information consumption habits, trust in information sources, and the assessment of information credibility by comparing the findings of the 2019 and 2024 surveys.
The presentation includes findings on:
- the main sources of information used by the public;
- the use of television, the Internet and social media;
- trust in different information sources;
- assessment of information credibility;
- media literacy skills and practices among the population.
The findings are based on a nationwide quantitative survey conducted across all regions of Armenia, including Yerevan. A total of 1,200 face-to-face interviews were carried out using the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) methodology. The survey employed a stratified cluster random sample with a 95% confidence level and a ±2.81% margin of error.
This publication forms part of APR Group's Comparative Public Opinion Study (2019–2024) research series.
